Clare, you're very kind, and not at all weird.
I personally don't run courses that are free, but am more than happy to share with you anything I have that helped me in the process of achieving AST status, including showing you my portfolio and any other paperwork that may be of interest. Please contact me off-Multiply at katescappaticci@yahoo.co.uk to discuss further if you wish.
As for delivering Inset, I happen to be in Ireland until the 2nd and leave for France on the 4th of September so, as luck would have it, I would be available to join you on the 3rd. Again, you can contact me by email to confirm this should you wish to book me on that day.
Take care.

I recently received info. from you and I would be extremely grateful if you could let me know of any courses you are running that are free, and I could attend. (seeing as I am appling for AST I would be obliged). Without sounding 'weird' I thought you were really vivacious as a speaker and I aspire to that.

I have funding to ask you to join us for inset at the start of september. We go back on 3rd september. There is inset 3/4 September and I am wondering if you are available on either of those days to talk to us - a department of 6, on target language'. Are you available?

Many thanks,

clare.

Kate, I once heard you say that you had a power point on classroom commands/ target language. I cannot seem to find it on your blog.

Dear Kate,
Thank you for the input at Maidstone Boys Grammar the other day. (I arrived late and sat at the back on the right) After having had babies close to each other and returning to work full-time, I felt the fire for my MFL teaching had been re-lit by your talk.

I work at the Towers School in Ashford and am in charge of KS3 MFL. We are a business and enterprise school. I recently put together a 'ks3 business and enterprise' programme. This included Term1 charity calendars in the T.L.; Term 2 MasterChef - cooking with our school chef in the T.L. by making christmas biscuits for friends; Term 3 treasure hunt in T.L. around the school; Term 4 mystery pen pals (writing to celebs.) and, to be held,Term 5 Speed-dating on mass per half yr group; Term 6 we are going out to deliver workshops in fr/sp/gm to feeder primaries on clothing, colours, Euros which will culminate in a fashion show for the primary feeders at the Towers school and a competition for the feeders to produce their ideal school uniform.

I felt very inspired by your examples of taking the 'inside out' and will be putting together a video for the primaries to watch of our school and the uniform at the towers.
I enjoyed hearing about up to date things that go on and would appreciate it if you would send me details of any speaking you do regarding up to date things/ exciting projects and whether you visit schools to provide assistance.

warmest regards, Clare Davey
